AAME Supporting Nevada Discovery Empow(HER)

AAME team members Carly, Brianna, and Daniela got to spend the day supporting the Nevada Discovery Museum’s first EMPOW[HER] Collective STEM Lab for girls, Engineering Demon Hunters, which took place in our STEM Lab at The Discovery on Saturday, February 21st. Adopting the theme of the popular Demon Hunters movie, this program takes budding female engineers on an adventure through the Honmoon through a variety of hands-on activities. Attendees could create wearable LED tech, be a back-to-back builder, compete in an egg drop challenge, design a demon trap, and more. The Saja Boys didn’t stand a chance against participants in this STEM Lab designed specifically for girls!
