Reno Ice Raiders
What a fun time! In mid-February, the AAME crew unplugged for an evening and attended a Reno Ice Raiders game at Reno Ice in South Reno. The crew did it up right starting with dinner at Miguel’s Mexican Food and with the Ice Raiders playing their rivals from Las Vegas, the Sin City Kings, the evening was filled with excitement and the rough physical play that hockey spectators have come to love. Icing on the cake: the Ice Raiders crushed the Kings with a final score of 17-4 making that game their biggest point differential in club history. Founded in 2015, the Ice Raiders Hockey Club is a full-contact, travel men’s Senior-A hockey club that plays teams based out of Nevada, California, Texas, Montana, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Colorado. The Ice Raiders independently compete against teams in the Mountain West Hockey League (“MWHL”) the Black Diamond Hockey League (“BDHL”) and the Great Lakes Hockey League (“GLHL”).
