NSHL Design Complete: Axe Throwing 2024
The pressure of a final deadline on a large, complicated laboratory project is no joke. Meeting such deadlines wouldn’t be possible if the AAME team wasn’t tight knit like a family, but even we need to blow off some steam every now and then. After wrapping up substantial design on the new 55,000 square-foot Nevada State Health Lab on the UNR campus, the AAME team spent an evening relieving stress by hurling sharp objects at dense surfaces at Brainy Actz Escape Room in South Reno. The potent mix of pizza, rock-n-roll, and throwing stars created quite the raucous but thanks to strict safety standards upheld by the staff, everyone left with both hands intact and now has a leg up for the zombie apocalypse!
