UNR Society of Women Engineers (SWE) – Evening with Industry
Thank you to our friends at PK Electrical for hosting AAME at the UNR Society of Women Engineers “Evening with Industry” event which was held on February 26, 2025 in the UNR Joe Crowley Ballrooms. This event includes a formal networking dinner connecting students with industry professionals. In fitting with the theme of the evening, “Blasting off to Success!”, it was great fun to talk with many energetic, up-and-coming engineering students at various stages of their college careers. Founded in 1950 with a goal of an inclusive work environment and gender equality in engineering and technology, SWE has 400 collegiate and professional sections and 40 affiliates across the country, including at the University of Nevada.
