SMART Mentor Meet-N-Greet
Alison Hall, our company’s president, through the S.M.A.R.T. (STEM Mentorship and Resource Team) Women Committee, recently co-hosted a meet and greet event at the UNR Keck Museum for female students interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields. Eager faces filled the room, reflecting the diverse array of backgrounds and interests represented in the STEM fields. Seasoned professionals warmly welcomed the students, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and support. The UNR MakerSpace provided supplies for a STEM keychain craft where groups gathered and through enthusiastic conversations, mentors shared their experiences, insights, and advice, while the mentees eagerly soaked up knowledge and inspiration. The event was a great success, forging connections and paving the way for the next generation of women to excel in STEM fields.
