Woolly’s Day Lodge is Now Open!
Woolly’s Adventure Summit’s new full-service Day Lodge is now open! The beautiful 6,000 square foot facility includes public restrooms, food and beverage, ticketing, lockers, retail, and indoor/outdoor patio dining areas. High-Alpine design is always a challenge, especially when a commercial kitchen is in play, but High Sierra Architecture was up for the challenge. On the HVAC side, the building’s systems are comprised of two propane fired air handlers and a complete kitchen HVAC system with exhaust fans and make-up air unit. The Day Lodge complements the new Alpine Coaster which sends visitors down a wild 3,500-foot downhill course on exposed toboggan style sleds that reach speeds up to 25 miles per hour. Make sure to plan a visit! Now let’s all hope for some snow……
